Who We Are
Welcome to New River Baptist Church, a local church in Islington that believes Jesus brings life. Our Sunday services offer a variety of worship experiences, including uplifting music, inspiring messages, and a warm community atmosphere.
Discipleship - Following Jesus
(Support for each stage of the journey of faith). Identifying relationships + resources for the next step on the journey for every member.
Mission - Love for neighbour/world
(Sharing + helping others > Jesus and Church). Opportunities for people to explore faith. Work amied at introducing families to Jesus.
Worship - Love for God
(Becoming rooted in Love, word + Spirit). Creating spaces to practice the presence of God, dig deeper in the Bible and grow in confidence in Holy Spirit ministry.
Community - Loving one another
(Celebrate our identity as God's Family). Space to be ourselves around others + support to strengthen our identity in Christ. Regular activities that offer welcome and care across generations + cultures.
Equipping
(Increase Capacity for new opportunities for church and mission). Invest in training + equipping for leadership.
